The travel community gathered in excitement as the World Travel Expo (WTE) Year 10 officially opened its milestone celebration at The Block of SM North EDSA in Quezon City. The first leg of the expo drew travelers, families, friends, and solo adventurers eager to discover new destinations and plan their next memorable journeys.

Event organizer Miles Caballero led the opening ceremony by reflecting on WTE’s decade-long journey of connecting people with meaningful travel experiences. He emphasized that travel is more than simply visiting places—it is about moments that shape lives and create lasting memories.

“Ten years ago, we could not have imagined the many stories that would begin inside these halls,” Caballero shared. “A first flight, a long-awaited family reunion, a honeymoon finally planned, or a solo trip that builds someone’s confidence. These were not just bookings—they became unforgettable memories.”

The expo features a wide range of local and international exhibitors, including airlines, tour operators, and lifestyle brands offering exclusive travel deals and curated experiences. Visitors can explore interactive booths, participate in workshops, and attend informative sessions aimed at helping them plan their future adventures.
Beyond promotions and packages, WTE Year 10 highlights the transformative power of travel. The event underscores how exploring new places encourages cultural understanding, builds empathy, and supports local communities around the world.

Throughout the venue, attendees of all ages enjoyed the vibrant atmosphere—taking photos, exploring exhibits, and sharing moments with fellow travelers. Many expressed excitement about taking a break from daily routines and embracing opportunities to create new memories.
Caballero closed the ceremony with an inspiring message to all participants:

“Ordinary trips can become extraordinary journeys, and simple moments can turn into lasting memories. We hope everyone who visits this expo leaves inspired, refreshed, and ready to explore the world with curiosity and joy.”
The SM North EDSA leg of World Travel Expo Year 10 will run until March 8, 2026, welcoming travelers from across the country and beyond to explore destinations, plan future adventures, and dream big about the journeys ahead.
